Picture a place where courage is celebrated, and every challenge is an opportunity for growth; an environment in which children and adolescents find the strength to bravely face OCD and anxiety, while forging memories that will last a lifetime. Teaming up with Rise Center for OCD & Anxiety, OCD Louisiana is on a mission to create such a space for local kids.
Were you aware that over 75% of Louisianans lack access to appropriate mental health care? This means our children and adolescents encounter numerous barriers to effective treatment. Moreover, access to specialized mental health care, such as Courageous Campers, is exceedingly scarce. As an affiliate of the International OCD Foundation, our top priority is to facilitate easier access to treatment for OCD and related disorders in Louisiana.
This Giving Tuesday, with your support, we can provide our kids a summer brimming with self-discovery, meaningful connections, and triumphant moments. Every contribution, regardless of its size, will help us provide an empowering experience for these extraordinary campers.
