SUMMARY:GiveNOLA Day
DESCRIPTION:GiveNOLA Day\, an initiative of the Greater New Orleans Foundation\, is a one-day online giving event. For 24 hours\, you can support your favorite local causes by donating to one or more of 900+ participating nonprofit organizations. This year\, our fundraising priority is Courageous Campers.Your donation will fund:– $10: Craft supplies for one camper – Throughout the camp week\, campers will use art supplies to participate in fun camp activities\, practice mindfulness skills\, and challenge their anxiety.– $15: Bugs! – The Great Outdoors Day: campers will face fears of creepy crawlers with fake bugs!– $25: Weather Science Lab Kit – Storm Day: campers will learn about scary storms and how to be scientists. This will prepare them to be scientists to look for evidence for and against anxious thoughts.– $50: Toy anatomy kit – Adventures in the Human Body Day: campers will use the anatomy kit to learn how to describe and cope with uncomfortable physical sensations of anxiety.– $75: Karaoke Machine – Talent Show and Graduation Day: Campers will put on a talent show to face social anxiety fears.– $250: Fund a Camper’s Intake Evaluation – Each camper will complete and intake evaluation with a clinician to ensure camp is tailored toward their specific needs. Lack of funds should not be a reason a child cannot receive the treatment they need!– $1000: Billboard Advertising Camp – Help us pay for a billboard to spread the word to locals about this upcoming opportunity.– $2000: Event Insurance for Courageous Campers – Event insurance is vital for ensuring the safety of our participants\, staff\, and volunteers. Your generous donation will directly contribute to the success of our camp\, allowing us to focus on providing a memorable experience for our campers. \n\n\n\nThe early giving period starts April 23rd
